It has been recognized by worldwide people that creativity is important not only for society but also for individual person. How to exploit children creativity and to culture creative talent are common difficult problem faced by education circles of every country. Psychology researchs have proved that motivation plays important role in giving full play to person's creativity. But it is overanxious for quick results to exploit children creativity in our education practices for not culturing children creative motivation , on the contrary, ignoring even smothering children creative motivation, which will smother creative talent of future. Therefore, it is important and urgent for us to inqure into and culture children creative motivation. This paper can be divided into three parts:The first part is an outline of children creative motivation. In this part, the author analyze the meaning and the feature and the formation of children creative motivation. Children creative motivation is a motivation that can motive children to do creative activities and to show creativity. It has four features: much curiosity, much imagination, many interests and being eager to do well, which can be seen clearly in young children. Children creative motivation is formed under creative needs and creative motives, which has been effected not only by objective factors but also by subjective factors.The second part is made up of two questions: perspective of present situation of Chinese children creative motivation and reason analyses. In the first, the author reflects the present of Chinese primary and secondary school students' creative motivation indirectly from four aspects: curiosity, interest, imagination and achievement motivation. According to the present situation, it can be seen that creative motivation of Chinese middle and primary school students is weaker than `that of pre-school children. Then, the author analyze the reason which leads the above-mentioned present situation. Among many reasons, school has its ownresponsibilities.The third part is to culture children creative motivation. Culturing children creative motivation is such a systematic project that the whole society must participate in it and school must take on its own important tasks. In view of the block of education ideas, the restriction of education systems and the impropriety of teaching actions in school, school should renew education ideas, create education systems and improve teaching actions.
