the aim of this experiment is to acknowledge the students' choice, to watch the students on how they would reorganize the studying materials and start their thinking in class, and then find out better ways to fit the senior art education to the new curriculum standard. Besides, the senior students want to carry out the lessons outside class. I want to find out the keys to all below questions: how to carry out the lessons outside the classroom? what range to be limited in?this kind of lesson goes against traditional teaching procedure, which is explaining first and then experiencing. In the class, the students have to practice drawing without any instructions, during which they are encouraged to find and put forward questions, then in the course of the teacher' s performance, the students have to pick out the ways of solving the questions, and at last form their own drawing characters, through which the students use the method of discovering and exploring, and based on the usage of theories and the creation of the teaching situation and the process of gaining knowledge, they finally show the advantages of the experiment.on the whole, the students have raised their interest in art education as the experiment goes on. In the course of art appreciation the percentage of interest goes up from 30. 7% to 79. 4%, while the percentage of indifference falls from 69.3% to 19.6%. The advantages lie in the contents of the lessons(up to 48.1% students showing interest) and study activities (up to 54.7% students showing interest). But the limited time they can offer on art still disturbs the students, which somehow prevents their enthusiasm.
