It is the eighth of the innovation of basic education Curriculum since found of new China in 1949, which spread out China. With great enthusiasm and sense of responsibility, thousands of educators will involve in the great tide of innovation. Therefore, the government brought forward a newly Curriculum standard (trial draft), some of which definitely indicate that it should be comprehensive innovation in the aim of the course, the educated ideal, and the form of learning in the Chinese course. Learning method is the key change, which based on the role of teacher. Thereby, the key to the innovation is the change in the role of teachers. In this situation, there are so many discussions on the theme. However, most of the discussions are positioning on theory and relative education department and experts, but it is not very practical for teachers in primary and high school, specially for primary school teachers.This paper will therefore discuss the new role of Chinese teacher in Curriculum innovation.I. The traditional role of primary school teachers is concentrate on teaching and explaining the puzzle.II. Strongly appeal on the change in the role of primary school teachers in curriculum innovation.III. Reposition the role of primary school teacher on : 1. The 'mouthpiece' of main body educators.2. Director executive' on the class activities. 3. Midwife' for students to learn Chinese. 4. Cooperator' of relative teaching staff.. 5. Researcher' of Chinese education practice.IV. Break through on the idea of role for primary school teachers. During the innovation of curriculum, it is necessary for primary schoolteachers to reposition of the role. And it is very important for the development of teacher individually, the key to innovation of Chinese curriculum.
