At first, this research examines the reliability and validity of the self-designed "Undergraduates' Specialty Commitment Inventory", which includes four dimensions: affective commitment, ideal commitment, normative commitment and continuance commitment. The verifying results show that the inventory is a useful tool in researching the specialty commitment of the undergraduates. Then it emends "The Index of Learning Styles" formulated by American professor Richard M. Felder and his colleges. Inspections indicate that the inventory is of satisfactory reliability and validity, so it can be a useful instrument for the research. The research investigates the specialty commitment and learning style of the undergraduates by using the scaling method. The investigation results emerge. The level of the specialty commitment in the undergraduates is not very high; There is no significant difference of sexes, grades, specialties, types of the school in the learning style and this denotes that our country's undergraduates haven't formed the adaptive learning styles to their specialties; The specialty commitment and learning style act each other and they influence undergraduates' study together. This actual state of our country's undergraduates in the specialty commitment and learning style has made a vicious circle, which affect their academic achievements. Based on these findings, it's important to continually strengthen the reform of educational system and specialty ideology education of college students; At the same time, it's important for the university to reform the ways and means of teaching.
