The basic purpose of modern education is to educate people, promote their development, expand their spirit of individuality. In the educational activity, the individuality of people and the developing of its function are the important dimensions when measuring the quality and level of modern education. However, when concerning the present conditions of the writing education, we face crisis -the students we educate tend to be lacking in individuality, initiative and creativity. Owing to the characteristic of writing, any life and course can find its own manifestation, those who would express their personal thoughts and experience of nature, society, and human life need to fully develop their spirit of individuality. The writing education is a subject in which the individuality of the students not only needs to be developed most but also can be cultivated. The essay argues for the development of students' individuality through the cultivation of their individuality in writing and for the role writing plays in quality education.This essay tries analyzing the conditions of writing education in the secondary vocational school nowadays. From the angle, such as, teaching materials, teachers, environment and students ect. Also it will introspect the reasons why the students lack the individuality in writing, especially the responsibility that the teacher should undertake. People must have a clear conception of the intention, the feature of the corpus of writing .In order to definitude the importance, The essay tries to study the significance and particularly the methods of cultivating individuality of the secondary vocational school students.
