The loss of the subject and disappearance of the individuality nowadays are very common in middle school students' writing, which has become a bottleneck urgently waiting to be broken through in writing teaching of the middle school. How to return the space of a scene of free writing to students and let them publicize their own writing individuality is still one important problem lying in front of vast Chinese educators, so call for the return of the writing individuality is the necessity of quality -oriented education of the Chinese language as well as the need of the era and educational innovation.This essay makes clear the concept of the individuality at first, putting forward the writing individuality including the three basic intensions, i.e. independence, truth and innovation. In view of current existing situation of the serious individuality loss in writing, this article has hereby probed into the way of writing individuality from four aspects of the teacher's factor, teaching material factor, students' own factors and language environment.
