On The Modes Of Cooperative Study Of Physics In Senior Middle Schools

Cooperative Study has become one of the main modes in international educational reform. It is also a study mode advocated during the execution of National Basic Education Curriculum and during the reform of New Curriculum. The history of the execution of Cooperation is short and the objects of study are mainly pupils. Senior school students are seldom trained to cooperate, thus they lack both the consciousness and the ability of cooperation. Then how can we carry out Cooperative Study in senior high schools? Which modes are suitable for students of physics? We have to think them over.According to New Curriculum Standards as well as the characteristics of senior school students and the characteristics of the subject of physics, we divide Cooperative Study of physics for senior-school students into four modes. That is, Help Acceptance Type, Cooperative Probe Type and Group Research Study. The thesis, based on our own teaching experience, mainly deals with the characteristics of the above modes, the detail procedure of the execution,, matters needing attention and the advantages and disadvantages in improving students' consciousness and ability of cooperation.The thesis, based on the teacher's direct teaching experience and guided by New Curriculum Standards, treats the practical modes and the execution of Cooperation Study in senior middle schools. It is divided into three parts. Cooperation Study in physics teaching, the present situation of students' cooperation consciousness and ability and its causes, and finally the probe into the modes of Cooperative Study of physics. It is hoped that the thesis can be helpful to those carrying out research on Cooperative Study. It is also hoped that it will be of some help for the execution of New Curriculum Standards in the coming year.
