Currently, the scholars of inland already have solid basic about the theory of cooperative learning, also included a lot of successful existing cases and abundant of experiences. However, the cooperative learning has been promoted in our country, which means the more stringent requirements will become inevitably on cooperative learning, also the more attention to the situation of students cooperative learning. The main purposes of this research included are as follows:defining the cooperative learning; a framework of mathematics cooperative learning for junior high school students; researching the high school students from the dimensions of students cooperative learning situation; the four dimensions of cooperation learning which impact the development of the students to determine the direction of development of cooperative learning; summarizing the conclusions of empirical research on the development of cooperative learning of mathematics and providing several suggestions and prospects.This research is depending on analysis of literature resources that are related to cooperative learning from abroad and inland, and then formatted the questionnaire about the students’ cooperative learning. Questionnaire framework:student cooperative learning attitude, cooperative learning characteristics of students’ understanding, the extent of students using on cooperative learning, cooperative learning effect, as well as the content contained in each dimension. After the preparation of the first draft, combined with instructors and classmates recommendations, firstly is adjusting to the questionnaire, and then testing the availability and validity of the questionnaire, finally is finalizing a formal questionnaire. Questionnaire objects are coming from five high schools of the two cities. The questionnaires constantly give out in one week,712 valid questionnaires were collected, then enter the collected data and use the SPSS 17.0 to analyze them.According to the analysis of gender differences, age differences, and grade differences of cooperative learning conditions for students, we can conclude that there are no significant gender differences in students’cooperative learning situation, However, has significant differences in age and grade level. The various essential components of cooperative learning conditions have significant differences in age, gender and grade level. Students’ cooperative learning situation has higher positive correlation with the four essential components. And the four essential components impact the students’ cooperative learning situation in different level.According to the research of cooperative learning conditions for students, we can obtain the following revelation:focusing on the application of students’cooperative learning, focusing on training students’ cooperative learning methods and teachers’ collaboration teaching, focusing on applying balance method of cooperative learning between the general classes and major classes. Prospecting for related research of cooperation situation:expanding the scope of the study of cooperative learning; examining study situation by tracking classroom teaching, recording cooperative learning clips and interviewing before, during and after cooperative learning; in addition to survey students, investigating teachers’ cooperative teaching to understand the students’ cooperative learning situation.
