The new information technology revolution characterized by multimedia and network has brought about great changes in the field of education, and a big jump in the research into the teaching models of elementary education. The advantages of network learning context firmly support the carrying out of cooperative, exploratory learning, which are of great significance to optimize classroom teaching. This paper proposes cooperative, investigative network teaching model by integrating network with the teaching of Senior Chemistry; so as to improve its teaching efficiency. It first explores the theories of this teaching model, the building of network teaching system and the design of classroom teaching. Then it sums up the major directory strategies, illustrated by one teaching example. Finally, it appraises this learning-centred teaching model by comparing it with traditional teaching models and using the methods of educational statistics etc.
