The social stratification of class students exists objectively, which has importantly effect on level of self-expectation, formation of self-concept, development of mentality health and class construction. The thesis studies the social stratification of class students systematically, which can provide microcosmic educational fairness research with basis of theory and practice, and enriches research of class sociology by the new angle.The thesis delimits the meaning, dimension and indexes of the students stratification in class, and builds preliminarily a theory framework which is on the basis of social position of class students and regards possession condition of the achievement resource of school work, organizational resource in class and peer group as the dimensions and serves the achievement of school work, organization role and the choice-refusal of peer as the objective indexes. Meanwhile, this thesis inspects concretely the condition of students' achievement position stratification, organization position stratification, groups position stratification in the primary-middle school in China and their interrelationship, reveals the basic specific characteristic of every grade and the forming trace of students stratification. According to the stratification principles and present situation in China, this thesis draws the outline of basically structural shape of the students stratification: the isolated edge, the neglected mesosphere, the advantageous in the middle and the privileged layer in core, pay close attention to students stratification of every layer. Meanwhile, the thesis also inquiries about the factors of society, school, family that influence and lead to students stratification. At last, this thesis inspects the rationality of students stratification, analyses its historical background, and puts forward the strategy of implement, that could make students stratification rationalized.
