Recent years, with the development of education reform in our country, science course has become a focus to which the education circle and all those who are concerned about education pay much attention. All the studies on science course in our country and overseas, without any exception, point out the importance and function of teacher in course application. However, a systematic, in-depth study in the design of science teachers training program is inadequate in academic field. This paper makes a primary design on the training program to science course teachers on the basis of investigations and studies about science teachers of Hubei Province and their basic requirements. It aims at providing a set of easily-manipulated training programs based on investigation for the training work of science course teachers to reinforce the reform of science course. This paper can be divided into three parts.Part One puts forwards a question. After analyzing the general situation of the reform of the basic education courses in our country and the reform trend of the science course, it sums up the diatheses in six aspects that science teachers should possess and indicates the direction and purpose for the training of science teachers.Part Two comments the studies on teachers training in our country and overseas. It first points out the content of teachers training and then reviews the studies on teachers training and gets a beneficial revelation. Finally it concludes a new concept of teachers training.Part Three is the study and hypothesis on teachers training of science course. On the basis of questionnaires and results analysis to the teachers of science course in Hubei Province, it puts forwards three suggestions to improve and reinforce teachers training. They are as follow: The necessity of the reform of normal education courses. The traditional teachers training methods need reform. To reinforce the scientific study and direction to science course reform. Finally it makes a primary design on the teachers training program and forms a set of systematic, integrity training programs for science course.
