The quality of teacher is a crucial factor influencing the quality of education. The arrangement of the curriculum, which aims to the in-service training of high school math teacher who have 5-15 years experience, has great theoretical and practical significance, especially considering the curriculum reform on high-school mathematics. And the in-service training of math teacher is also an important part of teacher' s education. General speaking, teachers who have 5-15 years teaching experiences are in the hey-day of their career, and have strong wishes to make professional improvement on teaching. The arrangement of curriculum is a key problem of school education. Therefore, the research would be a valuable topic in the light of all the factors mentioned above.The dissertation is based on the theory of math teacher professionalization and the demands on the math teachers' quality which are needed by the new high school curriculum reform .An investigation on high school math teachers is also made to find out problems among them. Compares among 3 developed countries were done to find out what are the teachers learning in these countries. The main ideas and contents are listed as the following.One of the aims of the in-service training is to advance the level of math teacher professionalization. So the choice of curriculum for math teacher in-service training should comply with the qualityrequirements of the theory of math teacher professionalization. The professionalization of math teacher has stages. A conclusion, which synthesized 4 different famous researches, is made on the characters of high school math teachers who have 5-15 years experiences. New demands are requested with the reforming of high school math curriculum.The contrasts between National Standards of High School Math and Essentials of High School Math Teaching show that there are 4 changes among them. Consequently, new qualities are needed by the new curriculum reform. A questionnaire among teachers shows techniques such as how to use computer, how to communicate with students are in great needs. A good plan on the arrangement of curriculum should absorb the excellent experiences of developed countries, and also preserve the successful experience of our traditional in-service training.A design on the arrangement of in-service training curriculum for the teachers is at last given considering all above factors.
