| The imbalance development of the economy and society among regions is one of the essential national conditions in China. As the reforms of politic and economy are carried on, economy and society among regions develop fast and own the obvious regional characteristics after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committees. The development of district economy makes the development of education shows the obvious regional characteristics. National education decides the characteristics and orientation fundamentally, however, district education should combine with practices, tries its best to explore the way of development combining with the regional characteristics. The smooth development of national education depends on the whole and balance development of the district education. After the State Council promulgated "Resolutions on the Structural Reform of Education" in 1985, the power of the local government to manage education extends, and the duty of the local government also becomes heavier. The enthusiasm to develop the district education among regions rises. The questions between the district education and the harmonize development of economy and society are discussed in the field of theory. So the district education research develops fast, and now is a field paid close attention in the educational research. This study mainly uses the method of historical research to discuss the concept, significance and approach of district education research in China.The main results of research are as follows:Firstly, according to the history of district education research and logical rules, the district education research is defined that, based on the principles of national education, it has the district education as the object in order to promote the district education to develop fast and improve the research of educational science whose aim is the development of regional economy and society.Secondly, district education research can help us to understand our national educational rules more concretely, practically, comprehensively and profoundly. Developing district education research in our country not only has important theoretical significance, but also has very important realistic significance; It is not only beneficial for enriching and developing our educational basic theoryresearch, but also provides more persuasive and pertinent schemes and suggestions about educational reform to the government; Developing district education research, also has important social significance.Thirdly, district education research belongs to the category of educational science research, needs to wholly grasp the reality of district education and district society, so it must choose not only various educational research approaches, but also methods of sociology, economics, anthropology to carry on the cross-subject research; District educational research also needs some special research methods, such as community approach. |
