4-5 years old is the key period for children to master the concept of number.Theunderstanding of the actual meaning of the number of children is the basic and important content ofthe development of the number concept.Existing research shows that 3-6 years old children'sawareness of the logarithm is not perfect,but it is not as scarce as the classical conservationresearchers think.This study from the understanding of numbers,according to the number ofadmission,say four aspects,total number of making characterization of inventory,status to theexploration in 65 4 year old children's understanding of the base of practical significance.Researchresults show that:(1)4 year old children in the survey content between the uneven development,the understanding of the basic meaning of the child is not perfect;(2)Children's understanding ofthe base of practical significance with age and continuously improve,individual differences andchildren on the base of understanding with age and gradually decreased;(3)Early shift to shift onthe end of the semester is the key phase of the development of children's understanding of the baseof practical significance,the teachers of mathematics education activities and behaviors ofchildren's number concept development to a significant role in promoting;(4)There is no obviousgender difference in the understanding of the actual meaning of cardinal number at the beginning of the 4 year old.In view of this situation,research on the promotion of 4 years old children on thebase of practical significance to understand,to bring forward the relevant suggestions,to helpchildren with specific things formed on the base of practical significance to promote children'snumber concept of development.
