With the establishment and development of socialist market economy, Chinese sports has stepped on the path of industrial development, industry begins to include sports in the development framework of national economy. However, it was a pity that people have not analyzed sports industry on system, especially structure of sports industry. On the basis of the knowledge of economics and management, this dissertation made an introductory study on the questions about structure of sports industry.First of all, it makes an inquiry into the concept on structure of sports industry and classify of sports industry. Especially, the writer advances the fundamentals of this subject-- the concept of sports industry: The sports industry refers to the aggregate of all production and operating activities related to sports. The aggregate include divisions which offers material object's quality the sports production of labor services to society and divisions which offers the quality of sports production material too. Take second place with sports industry every key element department difference divide the sports industry into 3 big classes mainly: Offered to the production division of a service of sports and was called a kind of industry of sports. It is classes II industry of sports to offer to the production division of products of material object of sports. Three a kind of industries at sports one a kind of industries but support and production division that develop sports.The focal point of this subject lies in this the structure of sports industry, including trade structure, the discussions of product structure, employment structure and consumption structure. The results of research are that the structure of the sports industry and employment structure are unreasonable, and the regional disparity is very great. The tangible sports products can meet market demand basically in the product structure of our country, some products are even supply exceeds demand. Non-physical products such as the sports labor service products can't meet market demand the sports place specially. The consumption structure of sports of our country is divided into materiality consumption and labor service and consumed, people's sports is consumed still at practicability stage.Finally, this subject network analysis influences the basic factor of the sports industrial structure change of our country. Including national economies development level, Natural resources condition, function of population structure, demand elasticity and elasticity of supply, state policies and law, induced effect each other among the industry.
