A Study On Popularizing The Education Of Electronic Commerce By The Course Of Information Technology In The Middle School

Nowadays, Electronic Commerce is no longer a newly introduced concept to most of people; it got rapidly developed in the last ten years. However, the development of Electronic Commerce requires lots of well educated persons who fully understand the nature of Electronic Commerce and have ability to operate Electronic Commerce. Thus, improving education of Electronic Commerce becomes an important and urgent task. Generally speaking, Electronic Commerce composed by Information Technology and Economics knowledge, that is to say the practitioner should have qualification for these two parts of background knowledge. In the recent years, the elementary school and high school has paid more and more attentions on the education of Information Technology. The educational reformations are deeply and continually in order to cultivate and improve the students' aptitude on Information Technology. This paper just bases on researching these two background areas. It discussed the ways to achieve the goal that promote development of education, summarized the Education of Electronic Commerce, middle schools' Information Technology course and Economics education in the basic education, moreover, this paper supplied the idea of popularizing the Education of Electronic Commerce by the course of Information Technology in the middle school. First, on the status of Electronic Commerce, the paper put forward the four-dimensional Model of Electronic Commerce, and explained the roles of "condition" from the course of "Information Technology" in high school in particularly. Second, according to theories of Curriculum, Instructional Design and Constructivism, this study explored the scheme about how to popularize the Education of Electronic Commerce by the course of Information Technology in the middle school and designed the frame of teaching. Finally, this paper analyzed the effects of the new teaching methods through the case study of Haikou Jingshan School. At the end of this paper some advices have been supplied for this school. This study is trying to provide a new idea on developing the Electronic Commerce and reforming the education of Information Technology in the middle school. Thus it could accelerate the spread of Economics education in the basic education in China.
