A Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures To Establishment Of Dance Courses In The Major Of Physical Education Of Chinese Colleges

Quality education is the mainstream of reform and development in Chinese education and even world education. Therefore, all-out improvement of citizen's quality is not only the demands of social development but also the symbol of advancement of times. Dance education, as one of the earliest cultural education activities of the human being, is possessed of superb advantages in uplifting spiritual realm and shaping perfect personalities. Evidence can be found from epigrams of ancient and contemporary philosophers to prove this point. As a result, significance of establishment of dance courses for physical education major in colleges is evident. However, the current research on teaching of dance courses for physical education major in colleges is still at the shallow descriptive level and without specific solution. Consequently, this study will base on the practice, take the perspective of social development and major features. It carries out empirical investigation and study ofcurrent situation of establishment of dance courses in physical education major in colleges via the research methods of literatures, individual interview, questionnaire, statistics and comprehensive analysis. It has discovered that in the course of implementation of establishment of dance courses in physical education major in colleges, problems like poor quality of recruitment, fewer courses, inappropriate teaching content, urgent lack of textbooks, imperfect teaching facilities, conservative means of evaluation for study and weak in strength of teaching and funding. As for the current situation, the author puts forward relevant solutions, that is, to set up reasonable teaching goals, appropriately extend teaching content, make scientific use of teaching methods, carefully select and compile textbooks, scientifically carry out study appraisal, constantly optimize teaching staff, improve teaching environment and actively create cultural art atmospheres in the campus. It is expected that this paper will offer reference evidence to further improve teaching system of dance courses in physical education major in colleges .
