The purpose of dance aesthetic education is to simultaneously develop the educatee’s body and mind. Dance aesthetic educationnot only can make the body healthy, coordinated, flexible, beautiful, but also can inspire the educatee’s mind, stimulate their creativity, improve their aesthetic ability, and enrich their life experience. Physical and mental health guaranteethe improvement of life quality. Meanwhile, they also make the educateesbecome recipients of dance, as well as a new generation with excellent dance appreciation ability and rich aesthetic experience.This thesis attempts to start from the relationship between education and dance, and analyzes the value and meaning of dance education inprimary schools employing knowledge such as dance education, aesthetics, and other related disciplines.This thesis takes "Beijing Primary School Physical Education EevelopmentProjects" as a case, analyzes its current situation, and puts forward reflections on the development prospect of the project.The thesis is divided into three chapters. It analyzes the current situation of the Beijing city primary school sports aesthetic development project in which Minzu University of China has participated, and puts forward a tentative plan of its development prospect.The first chapter:the analysis of the value of dance education in primary schools. This chapter consists of two parts. The first part is the relationship between dance education and aesthetic education, in which the necessity and effectiveness of dance as a means of aesthetic education is mainly discussed.The second part is about the value and significance of dance education in primary schools. Through elaboration of the dance on the five characteristics, six function, analysis of the culture of dance education of six kinds of abilities of students, the emphasis point of this text is pupils on cognitive and inheritance of national culture. This thesis focuses on the educational significance of Chinese folk dance to pupils based on the national culture.The second chapter:the present situation and analysis of the dance education in primary schools. This chapter includes two parts. In the first part, the author of the thesis elaborates onthe current situation of dance education in primary schools, including various ways to carry out dance education, such as teaching of Laban Movement, kinesthetic excitation of dance education, dance education, folk dance education. The second part is an analysis of the current situation of dance education in primary schools. The author mainly takes the current situation of dance education in four primary schools provided by Minzu University of China as a case, and analyzes it from four perspectives:the scientificness of curriculum, the definiteness of teaching goals, thesuitability of teaching content, the appropriateness of teaching methods, the diversity of teaching design, and the effectiveness of homework assignment.The third chapter:the reflections on the development prospect of dance education in primary schools. This chapter is divided in three parts: the construction of school-based teaching materials, the construction of Jinfan Dance Troupe and the research and development of special projects. In view of the different training goals of primary schools, different training programs are developed. As for the research and development of special projects,the author of the thesis put forward three ideas:the mutual aid and promotion of dance and music, ethnic musical development and the promotion of national aerobics.Their development value is analyzed separately based on the teaching practice which is being put into experiment.
