With maturity of the network technology and the prevailing of idea of lifetime study, online education becomes a main form of distance education. But the current development situation of online education indicates, learners who involve in web-based learning mostly motivated by external motivation. Students'intrinsic motivation is weak, there is not motivation that can support learner's inherent motive force of lasting study for ever .And it has caused a lot of learners to withdraw midway and doesn't not insist on finishing the whole learning process , so it is a main kind of study trend to how to maintain and inspire learns' motivation in web-based learning.First,the paper is set up on such on the basic of concept that Learning motivation is a key factor of learners' study and a constant maintaining factor that runs through entirely learning process. Learning motivation is not a factor existing alone,and can't break away from actural learning process and learning environment. So, This paper takes research on motivation strategy in web-based learning into account on the basis of defining concept and meaning of web-based learning, under motivation theory instruction, according to the characteristic of networked learning, according to learner personal characteristic, organization of learning material, sustainment of learning environment, influence of teacher ,and so on that five factors each other action.Secondly, paying close attention to leaner's characteristic and relevant information of the network course. Analyzing the learner's characteristic includes learning need, initial ability, cognitive style, initial motivation and learning tendency. On the basis of understanding learner's initial motivation, aiming at learning style and initial ability. The paper offers motivation strategy to learner individual that is suitable for learner's needs and tendency, and improves self-efficiency and satisfaction. Realization on set-up and arranging information of web-based course can increase familiar degree on that. Organization tactics to course material can authentic instance having contacted with actual life, not only improve learners' attention to task and engulf motivation. But also consciously improve learner's ability of problem of solving and planning one's own learning process.Thirdly, entering dynamic process that the exploding motivation. When learners are in process of learning, they realize dynamic influence to own learning emotion that self- efficiency, goal, attribution, and self-confident such as learning motivation arouse, and one's own dynamic change process. At the same time, record and guidance and assessment about learning process and outcome can make learner during the process of countercharge realize one's own oneself actively, to realize self- regulating action to study and make positive attribution to one's own success and failure.Finally, research on motivation strategy in web-based learning carry out on the basis of eprotfolio. The eprotfolio has offered the authenticity basis for research of learner's motivation strategy, and has paid the authenticity and reviewing concern to the learner's learning process.Research on Motivation Strategy in web-based learning makes a discussion to learners and materials of interaction by point of motivation in network learning. Teaching designers while designing network teaching, can excite models according to the individualized motive and have a clear understanding of the exciting and keeping to learners' learning motivation.
