November 1997, " Century Observe " column of" Beijing Literature " put out one group article on " anxiety think of China language education " , therefore a free discussion of Chinese education is expansioned. In this free discussion, literature education in middle school is" focus ".People realize unanimously that " the problem of literature education in middle school is the key point of the course reform of the language ". Synthesizing some materials, whether it isn't lack penetrating and correct judgement among them , there is heavy dispute too. What is literature education? How is literature education to make a reservation? How are relation between Chinese education and literature education ? To these fundamental theoretical questions, people's suggestions are inconsistent.In view of the above,this text has explored several problems of literature education in middle school. The proposition involves historical inspect of Chinese and foreign literature education, present drawback of literature education in middle school , re-exploring on essence of literature education in middle school and innovative tactics of literature education in middle school etc..This text has roughly investigated and analysed literature education at all times and in all lands at first. Using history as a guide and mirror, I think research and implementation of literature education in middle school should cause enough attention. But the present situation of literature education in middle school of our country is not fully up to expectations : The localization of literature education is not clear enough, coming from existing the controversy of " Chinese " meaning for a longtime. The problems of the literature education practice are more outstanding too: The goal of literature education is indeterminate and the contradiction is conspicuous; Taking advantage of literature education to pursue the utility purpose phenomenon is serious; Literature education and literature study are in " isolated " state etc ..In view of the realistic state of the above, this text has explored localization, intension and function of literature education in middle school. The thesis proposes that Chinese should point " language " and " literature " . The content of Chinese education includes language education and literature education. It is the best method to solve the problem of confused" Chinese " meaning and different orient . On the basis of the view, I re-explore to intension and function of literature education in middle school from the new visual angle.Agaist the current situation of literature education in middle school, I advocate implement compartmental teaching in course offered so that make literature education in middle school a clear and perfected goal. This text put forward the concrete innovative tactics from the following several respects: Writing of the teaching material; Teaching method; Literary attainments of Chinese teachers etc..
