Research On Attention Characteristics Of Trampoline Players

Trampoline is an Olympic Game event, its special feature can be generalized as: "high" , "difficult " , "steady" , "beautiful "and "accurate" , and is given the name of "air ballet" . Because of its characteristic and the regulation of its rule, attention is very important for an athlete in mastering the skill and being excellent in a match.Attention is closely connected with task; the attention is chosen according to mission . As different people have different attention ability, we should choose those people who suit the attention type that trampoline need and train the ability to improve it. So scientific talent selection and training in trampoline are very important.. . With'the methods of literature research, investigation, experimentation, mathematical statistics and through the software of Attentional Ability Testing, the author tested the attentional ability of 31 master sportsman and 23 who aren' t in trampoline, and 60 students who do not major in trampoline. Results showed:(1) The attentional span and concentration of trampoline players are obviously higher than common students, but attentional distribution and shift is lower. The attentional shift and concentration of high-level trampoline players are obviousely higher than common-level ones, but attentional distribution is lower. There isn' t statistical difference between the two groups of trampoline players.(2) There isn' t gender difference in trampoline players. But in the group of common students, the attentional concentration of male is higher than female.(3) The age of trampoline players presents obvious negative relation with attentional distribution, and has distinct positive relation with attentional shift and concentration, but without significant relevance with attentional span. It is different in control group. There is significant relevance between age and Attentional span, - shift and concentration, but no obvious relevance between age and attentional span. The training is an important factor to the difference.(4) The age of trampoline players has distinct positive relation with the attentional concentration and shift and negative relation with attentional distribution. There isn' tsignificant relevane between age and attentional span.(5) Among the attention Characteristics, attentional concentration and span can be index of talent selection, and attentional concentration and shift can be index of training in trampoline.
