Cultivating people with high quality is the basic mission of higher education. Classroom teaching in higher education is the main pipeline of cultivating people with high quality. But classroom teaching in higher education may be affected like people and social. People have been used to study classroom teaching in higher education from a standardized point of view. However , this paper will adopt a totally different method in studying classroom teaching in higher education by introducing the method used in pathology into classroom teaching in higher education . It is called the study of classroom teaching pathology. The paper mainly consists of three parts.Part one: briefly introduce some concept on pathology, anddiscuss the main pathological symptom--inappropriateteaching goal, improper teaching method, impractical teaching content and distorted relationship between teachers and students,and point out some serious and typical consequent--the lackof students' creativity and active emotion.Part two: analyze the main reasons leading to these pathological symptom, which include the reason in concept on knowledge, the reason in institution of teaching management, the reason in teachers, and the interfering of traditional culture.Part three: seek therapeutic strategy. On basis of the above "diagnosis" , this part puts forward four strategies : changing traditional concept, establishing effective competitive system, enhancing teachers' quality, furthering the reform of elementary education.
