With the continuous progress of the basic education reform, the requirements for Teachers are increasing. And the pre-teachers as the major reserve army for future teachers whose teaching ability becomes the focus of everyone’s attention. However, many studies showed that the training process for pre-service teachers exists some deficiencies, for example, disconnect between theory and practice, emphasis on theory while contempt practice, and so on, which leads most pre-service teachers to lacking teaching ability, and seriously affects the quality of teaching after their entry. Therefore, this article explores how to improve the pre-service teachers’teaching ability effectively based on the instructional video cases, and will make the teaching language skills as an example.First, through analyzed the theories as follows:the process model of traditional micro-teaching, the roles of video case plays in the traditional teaching skills training, and behavioral skills training, practical intelligence, cognitive apprenticeship theory, we summarized the revelation which brings for the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills training mode. And on this basis, we completed the theory building for the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills training mode. Then, based on the internship video, we developed nearly100pathology video clips. And based on the Moodle platform, we built a pathological library of instructional videos. And on the basis of summarizing experience, we constructed relevant construction specifications. Finally, through purposive sampling, we selected10subjects from the students which are major in language and mathematics, and used action research method to correct the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills training mode which is based on the pathological library of instructional videos, and we also explored the actual impact which the model plays on the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills by the combination of video analysis and interviews. Besides, in order to make the trainees have a clearer understanding of teaching language skills, we used the delphi method, and interviewed12experts about teaching skills training, and finally built a relatively complete evaluation form about pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills.Based on the above research, the paper finally built the evaluation form of teaching language skills and the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills training mode which is based on the pathological library of instructional videos. Besides, the paper also explored the construction norms for the pathological library of instructional videos, and explored the actual impact which the model plays on the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills. Finally, the paper has put out some shortages in the research and several emphases for future study. It then suggests some ideas about how to perfect the pre-service teachers’ teaching language skills training mode which is based on the pathological library of instructional videos.
