The traditional reading activity in Chinese course generally focuses on the simplification, politicization and conceptualization of text meaning, which breaks up colorful and consistent passage and abstracts it into simple conception. Such interpretation of the passage cannot help students deeply understand the rich implication of the reading passage, and even strangle student's creativity. Therefore this rigid mode should be abandoned and a new reading mode should be developed in Chinese course, so that students can interpret the text creatively. In such a way reading quality and efficiency can be improved and student's creativity developed, which is in line with the development and requirement of the times.The science of interpretation claims that in the text there exists a meaning, but an implied meaning. Only by reading can its meaning be revealed. The reader is not passive, whereas he takes an active part in meaning constructing, adding his own subjective recognition into the text itself and forging it as the integral part of the text meaning. The implied meaning of the text is the prerequisite to processing the meaning. From the angle of creative writing, many famous writers' quotations, with the aid of their tensile force and language charm, provide the reader with a wide room to interpret the language freely, which makes the literary works free of the initial intention and transcend time and space. The literary language is characteristic of fuzziness, indefiniteness and blank points or undecided points which make the reader engaged in meaning construction of the works. Therefore, in teaching, the teacher should not restrict students to only one understanding. In fact the understanding of the works should be diverse andindividual. The student' every successful reading is the process of reciprocal explanation, understanding and construction between the reader and the works. Only when the reader himself perceives, understands, comprehends and criticizes the text can his "psychological feeling, emotion and will, and imaginative understanding be imprinted by striking individuality".The writer of this paper, based on the theories of interpretation science, beginning with the formation of the text meaning, put the reading activity in an elucidatory cycle of interaction and cause-effect, the cycle which consists of writer, text, context and reader. The paper aims to openly probe into the depth of reading activity and tries to find out the psychological process of the student's construction of text meaning so that the student can master some techniques of text construction. As a result, the student can construct his own rich spiritual world in the course of creative elucidation of text meaning and ultimately meet the requirements defined in teaching goal.
