The object of reading teaching is student. The content of reading teaching is literature . Both literature and nonliterature are meaningful. Reading teaching and understanding of literature can not be seperated. It is not only an important aspect but also focal and difficult point to explore meanings; to understand subjects. Furthermor; the terminal target of reading teaching is to help students to realize "meaning construction" of literature.Learning theory of constructionism as an unique theoritical system discover the congnitive regularity of humen's learning program; clarify how learning happens, how meaning is constructed. How concept is developed and what main factors the ideal leaning conditions contains and so on. This is basic theory to help students to realize "meaning construction" ,Firstly,this paper clarifies inner nature of literatures, enphasize characters of literature and construction of meaning ,connotation of meaning construction and elements that affect construction of meaning. Secondly, this paper introduce basic theory of realizing "meaning construction" systematically and entirely-origin,school of constructionism and the views of learning theory of constructionism. Under the guide of that , it connectstheory to practice and advances basic strategy of realizing " meaning construction" ,which is built on learning theory of constructionism and basic program of meaning construction.The purpose of this paper is to explore and attempt to nowdays'reading teaching reform, to expect finding more to promot the reading teaching.
