With the further development of curriculum reform, offering activity curriculum in primary and high schools has become a noticeable study field. In recent years, a kind of brand-new teaching form-activity lesson appears in the newly-revised curriculum standard and teaching material (published by PEP). The writer thinks that the political activity lesson in junior high school belongs to activity curriculum according to the theory of curriculum. This thesis discusses the activity lesson and researches the formation and development of political activity lesson, its set, character and principle, the relation between it and the subject of politics, a few common form and operation methods, and its evaluation and implementation significance. At last at the end of the thesis, a table is given to show the main content of the three-year junior activity lessons. The aims is, by inquiring into the political activity lesson in junior high school, to know the new teaching method to put it into teaching reform more quickly and better so as to promote the successful development of the activity lesson teaching in future.
