The Impact Of Postmodern Current To Contemporay Collegians' Viewpoint Of Value

Postmodern current is a cultural current which emerged in the west advanced countries in the 1960s. It has spread widely since it came into being 40 years ago. Alough it is going downhill, its influence has spread all over the world ,and "postmodernity" even became a fashionable word in the west. "Everybody speak, everybody speak word, everybody releave, everybody mine " became an important prospect in the west culture.As a made of thinking ,postmordernity is not only a continuation of thought, but also a reflection of social existance .Today in china, although there is no realistic soil for postmordernity to grow in, and china hasn't arrived the postindustial and informationalized society,we can not deny the influence of Postmodernity in China. Although thought depends on existance,it has its relative independence. Since China's reform and opening,with the cultural exchange with west countries, the Postmodern current has spread to China and has exerted such an influence over the field of Chinese ideology and culture, becoming a fashionable topic in Chinese academic and philosphical circles to an extent that if someone who does not have any idea of postmodernity or talk about it ,he will be considered illiterate on modern academy. Therefore, the spread of postmodernity in China has become a question worth of serious and careful Consideration, contemporay collegians are a sensitive colony and they resonate to the postmodern current very strongly. Our ideological and political workers in colleges should not ignore the influence of postmodernity on the contemporary collegians' ideology. Those ideological and political workers must have a thorough understanding of the mental substance of postmodernity and take objective analysis and evaluation of its duple effects. They must guide the college students properly, which is the duty of college ideological and political workers.
