Our purpose is to provide certain scientific evidence and hope there would be more persons with excellent gymnastic ability at earlier ages.Results of the investigation: The majority of competitive gymnastic coaches in Amateur Schools of Physical Training in Jiangsu Province are love their training work , have solid professional thoughts, with strong career and duty ,The coaches' team structures is compose of middle-aged and young people and the majority is of, They have enriched experience of field practice and training, however, they have got more degrees from normal schools than bachelor degrees and there are limited coaches of elder ages with high degrees, besides the team structures are not rational; These coaches have correct training theories, and could train children according to their basic rules and peculiarities, and emphasize the training of mental quality of athletes, they have strong consciousness of innovation ,they emphasize the training process and the abilities of innovation ;They have a very clear goal of scientific researches , but they lack the interests of researches, and weak researching ability, therefore, a few achievements, even fewer in participating in the projects sponsored by country, province or city. So it is hard to realize the organic whole of research and training.2/3 of these coaches haveused the reasonable scientific materials, and have mastered the skills of operating computers by self-study. Most coaches still can't get the gymnastic information through modern approaches and low level of foreign languages. They have intense willingness of pursuing education, a desire to acquire the ideal degrees, power of studying, and idea of obtaining life-long education, therefore they all want to get special training in one to 2 years to promote themselves so on.Adopting countenneasure: we should strengthen the structure of the coach teams, try to promote their professional qualities, reinforce the scientific material-selecting, increase the success ratio incessanty , enhance their abilities of scientific research in order to realize the scientific training and advance P.E., promote their abilities of acquiring and handing information of gymnastic information.
