Current Situation And Countermeasure On Tennis Coaches In Amateur Sports Schools Of Jiangsu Province

The amateur Sports Schools of Jiangsu province are the basic sector in the tennis training system of this province and are the main reserves talents-cultivation base for high-level athletic sports too. The amateur sports schools` coaches are the direct organizers and managers of sports training, they undertake the main task of the athletes-training, so their level directly affects the number and quality of these talents. But there are a certain gap between the tennis coaches and the coaches of the badminton and the table tennis which are all the hold bat net separated competition event-group. For enhancing the teaching level of the amateur sports schools` coaches further, This study has made the comprehensive investigation and analysis of the amateur sports schools` coaches in Jiangsu province, and advanced the corresponding countermeasure, this has a certain practical meaning for the reserves talents-cultivation of tennis sports .Results of the investigation: The amateur sports schools` coaches in Jiangsu province have a clearly trend that they`re younger. The coaches who are in the optimal age level are fewer. More coaches have undergraduate diploma, there are limited coaches of elder ages With high degrees, mainly in primary and secondary degrees. Sports experiences are diversified, fewer professional tennis player, lower technical grade. Part-time coaches take a quite proportion. The whole teaching age is shorter, shortage in experiences. Better basic and special knowledge but poor frontier knowledge. The majority of coaches love their training work and with strong career and duty. More coaches can make training plan and also have good implementations. Pay more attention to the specific techniques` training, less time of the day training but reasonable training in weekly, less matches. have big working pressure, more than half of the amateur sports schools haven`t improved the reward mechanism, more reasonable of the monthly pay, but lower satisfaction. More coaches need improving their methods of selection, the on-the-spot guidance capability is bad, weak studies capability, quite a number of them have bad spoken foreign languages, the importance of innovation has been realized, various information channels have been used alternately. Higher cognition about continuing educations, but its publicity is not in place. the majority of the coaches have take part in some post-trainings, information occlusion,the post-training cost and the limitations are reasons to influence them to join the post-trainings.Adopting countermeasure: To strengthen the studying of the computer and the foreign spoken language and also the post-trainings, increase scientific research training, standardizing the coaches` systems, improving the level of the professional quality; To promote the scientific selection and strengthen the capability of on-the-spot guidance ; optimizing the tennis development of the adolescents and children around our province; compiling teaching materials about training and the professional teaching of tennis; increasing more areas to hold more matches.
