The Study Of The Situation And Problems Involved In The Cultivation Of Reserve Forces Of Athletic Sports In Yanbian Area

With the development of the society, people attach more importance to athletic sports, which plays an important role in the contest of science and power as well as the talent for a country. In addition, the development of athletic sports relies on its reserve forces. Therefore, the cultivation of reserve forces is becoming more and more important, especially the cultivation of reserve forces of cities or counties, for it is the resource and base for developing athletic sports. As for the cultivation of reserve forces, researchers have never stopped studying it. However, most researchers only focus on the specific events, such as football, basketball, track and field and gymnastics, etc. Besides, they tend to choose specific athletes as their objects. Hence, the study of reserve force cultivation in some certain area, especially in some certain city or county has been seldom carried out. In order to make up the drawback, this article aims to analyze the reserve force cultivation situation and problems in Yanbian Area. The method of questioning and interviewing is adopted.This article investigated 154 coaches, 934 athletes, together with their parents, and interviewed sports teams, sports schools, some clubs and schools of traditional events. The investigation indicates: The major problem lies in the special attention to only two events-football and speed skating, which led to gradual withering of the talents of many excellent events in history. Furthermore, some potential athletes can't get the chance of being trained continuously because of the short-term need of some basic units or parents' interruption. As a result, the crisis of reserve force cultivation in Yanbian area came into being.What are the reasons resulting in the crisis? According to the investigation, thereasons are as follows: 1.The coaches aren't well qualified.2. The cultivation system isn't sound. 3.The leaders' conception falls behind. 4.The government didn't invent enough funds.5. The events aren't distributed scientifically and reasonably. Then how can we solve the problem? What measures should we take to improve the situation? Through the analysis and investigation, the article points out the following possible sound measures and strategies. 1.We should reform the training system as well as transform administrative function. 2.The government needs to invest more funds. 3. The layout of the sports events should be made scientific and reasonable.4. A new reserve force cultivation model needs to be set up. 5. We should combine training and teaching' closely. 6. The coaches need to promote their qualification as soon as possible.The development of athletic sports depends on the cultivation of its reserve forces. Therefore, the article investigates the reserve force cultivation situation in Yan bian area and find out its problems existing as well as put forwards with some suggestions and strategies in order to improve the current situation.
