Howard Gardner, a psychology professor in Harvard University, established the Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory in 1983. The new intelligence conception brings an important revelation and a new direction for the world education reformation. MI theory advocates that education should "discover the gift in every child" and create the individual learning environment adapted to the student's intelligence characteristic, and carry though the "intelligence fair" assessment. In China, under the new situation in deepening education reform and Quality Education, MI theory become one of the basic theory on new curricula innovation in K-16 Education. According to the new curricula innovation, the purposes of the research should be making the MI theory to be a new basic theory for instruction system design, inosculating the MI theory with science curriculum in elementary school, and offering an effective and practicable approach for instruction reform of science curriculum.The thesis analyzed the researching situation on MI theory in civil and abroad, summarized the conceptions of MI and its education tenet. According to the characters of the science curriculum and curricula innovation direction in elementary school, the paper point out MI theory is according with the basic tenets of the science curriculum. The thesis compared MI theory with other instruction theory, made the Ml theory to be the basic theory of instruction design, summarized the principles of MI instruction design, analyzed the elements that MI instruction design involved, and tried to sum up the general model of MI theory based instruction design. At last, integrated the MI instruction model and the instructional need of science curriculum, the paper set up a MI instruction approach of the science thematic inquire, and divided to some practicable steps. In additional, it probed into three aspects as teacher's intelligence characters self-analysis and development, the analysis of student's intelligences shape, the assessment of MI instruction.
