Creative education is an objective and systematic modern educational activity, which, on the basis of principle and method of creativology, intends to cultivate students' creative sense, creative quality, potential and creative ability. Creative education is the tendency of modern educational development. However, it is far behind in our country. In order to meet the needs of the modern society, thorough reform must be done in current university education and creative educational strategies should be employed to guide the teaching practice.This paper is first to explore the basic theories of creative education such as the nature of creativity, scientific creative view, the relationship between social transformation and change of educational function,to analyze the special properties of creative ability and its particular method of cultivation, and then to discuss the nature and constituents of creativology and a serial problems on creative teaching. By these analysis, the characteristics of educational aims, contents, teaching methods, teaching environment, teaching management and evaluation in university creative education are further explored so as to construct some university creative educational strategies, that is, 1. developing creative sense and scientific creative view as the prerequisite of creative teaching; 2.employing creativology as the beginning point. Creative teaching means that creative principles are used in teaching practice, and specialized course teaching combine with creativology teaching, creative activity and scientific research, allof which constitute the integration; 3. cultivating creative qualities --knowledge, intellectual and personalities as the core ,well dealing with the relation among them, that is, viewing knowledge as th foundation, intellectual as the premise and personality as the decisive factor ; 4. changing teaching method as a key measure, changing traditional cram class teaching form and rigid educational system ,introducing choosing and research study into the practical teaching; 5. establishing a creative environment as the backing force, building campus climate of security, freedom, democracy, equality ; 6. setting up a creative management system of both flexibility and humanity and developing multi-evaluation as a guarantee of creative education. These strategies are both independent and integrated, each of which analyses and expounds one aspect of university creative education, offers arguments and suggests solutions of teaching practice, on another hand, the relationship of these strategies is handled dialectically and harmoniously, embodying the view of system theory of overall planning and conforming. In the end three examples are given to show the position and effect of strategies of university creative education.University creative education is a complicated systematic project. It needs the understanding and support from the whole society, and it also needs to do experiments to explore university creative education model so as to construct creative education system with Chinese distinctive features.
