Study On The Structure And Application About The Rural Modern Distance Education Platform

Enter 1990s, as network technology, multimedia technology and modern communication technology application in the distance education has being extensive day by day. The distance education has developed into modern stage. Especially nearly 5 years, modern distance education becomes international hot topic in education circle in the world. The modern distance education is a kind of new-type education way to produce with development of the modern information technology; it is the main means to construct the study system for people all the life in era of knowledge-driven economy. The modern communication technology, computer network technology and multimedia technology are main means to construct it; its development has roughly gone through three stages. The author combines the present current situation of the development of research center of rural information engineering in Anhui Province,and the present key external factor and inferior position analysis of the inside key factor of research center, make SWOT analysis whether research center should develop modern distance education in Anhui Province. The result proves research center can be valid with the external chance and evade external threat in the progress of developing modern distance education, and it should adopt a kind of strengthened strategy and integrative strategy. Agriculture is foundation of the national economy. Agriculture, Rural and peasant are the basic question of economic development and modernization in our country. After joins WTO, economy marches toward globalization, the competition steps into the internationalization. If we should it stand firm in the global economic competition, we must improve the scientific and technological level, hold the market information and strengthen the competitive power. But improving whole quality and productivity competence of peasant must make use of media network resources; adopt modern distance education and information service. So, we should accelerate the construction of rural distance education network and promote the development and utilization of the network, it is the inexorable trend of the social development. Distance education comply with trend that educate all the lifetime, with capacity heavy, coverage rate wide, spend money little, serve peasants to study all the life effectively, become first-selection of China's rural lifetime education system.In our country, launch extensive distance education relatively short; it is in initial stage to research rural modern distance education platform structured. Some operated modes now are at very unripe stage, a lot of questions exist, so all there are a lot of problems urgently to be studied and solved to construction of the rural modern distance education platform in theory and application.
