Evaluation is an important tache in teaching process, so if there are some problems in thetache, it will cause a chain of problems, which lead low efficiency of teaching and learning, andquality of teaching and learning can not be ensured. There are some problems in currentbased-network teaching and learning, such as single evaluation subject, neglect the analysis oflearner's characteristic, showing preference for the result of learning, lacking of timely feedbackof evaluation information, and so on. To solve these problems and with a view to evaluation aims, we set up a new evaluationmodel of based-network learning. To aim at extensive, precise, objective evaluation of learner'slearning and base on the system of learner's characteristic analysis and database technology'ssupport, the model make formative evaluation a leading mode, and face multidimensionalevaluation objects, and combine computer's evaluation with person's evaluation. The first part of the thesis primarily analyze several chief problems existed in currentbased-network learning and show the necessity of composing the thesis. The second part mostly expound the principle of evaluation and the evaluation ofbased-network learning, which means to show the whole theory system of the evaluation ofbased-network learning, then discuss and sum up the actualities and development demands ofbased-network learning. The third part sets up a new evaluation model and expounds six important components of themodel. The fourth part begins with system analysis and design, which include the frame design ofsystem and six important modules' design and realization of system.
