Research On The Resources In Distance Higher Education

Distance education developed rapidly with information technology. Education resources are the important parts in distance education. It is the point key to distance education's quality. However, with the fast development of distance education, Educational resources are restricted to the development of distant education's development as bottle-necked. So must reconstruct the distance resources. In this paper, I studied the current status of the foreign and the national education resource construction from four aspects which are curriculum resource construction, network resource construction, manpower resource construction and offline aid resource construction.In the developed countries, they construct curriculum resources center, open network resources to all learners. Resource sharing became a trend. However, in China, not only the contents of the resources but also the curriculum's quantity can not satisfy the learners. They can not keep up with the steps of sharing resources of international trend. The warehouse of resources is the pivot of distance education. The information must be right, and all-around. In order to avoid error and segment information, the international organizations are try to construct an international information warehouse with authority, integrity and conformity. Manpower is another type resources in distance education. Manpower can rebirth. Teachers can create new resources by making courseware for network or multimedia. Otherwise, presswork and multimedia also are the important parts in distance education. To resolve the difficulty of resources in distance education, we should work hard on construction of both software and hardware. In software construction, we should share international resources and construct the resource center etc. In hardware construction, we should provide the basement for the development of the software resources. At any time, hardware resource should keep up with the international trend. Not only software but also hardware, should be reconstructed in now days.
