Till now, little time is spent on some specific researches conducted by domestic psychologists on the university employment-direction, and few research findings of the qualitative factors of the university employment-directors are found. To break the barrier, this research exerts the dimensions of essential factors of the professional quality of the employment-directors by a self-edited questionnaire, which is fairly reliable and valid. Data analysis of 558 college students figures out that:1) The essential factors of the professional quality of the employment-directors consist of 8 dimensions: cognition characters, task characters, knowledge characters, motive characters, self-control, social contact, the sense of responsibility, communicative.2) To the valuation on the importance of the 8 dimensions, significant differences are perceived on the levels of different grade, subject. And those students who have different sexuality, household register and job-experiment have consistent opinion.Data analysis of 149 college teachers figures out that:1) The essential factors of the professional quality of the employment-directors consist of 7 dimensions: cognition characters, task characters, knowledge characters, motive characters, developing, social contact and psychology knowledge.2) To the valuation on the importance of the 7 dimensions, significant differences are perceived on the levels of different sexuality, age, college and job type. And different-education -background teachers have consistent opinion.
