The attitude to mathematics study is a kind of psychology tendency which is made up of perception, emotion and behavior. Mathematics study attitude is core content that is an important factor to affect the students' mathematics study result, it is also core content of many non- intelligence factors. There has been the research result enunciation: The student's attitude to mathematics study not only directly influence mathematics study behavior, but also affects mathematics study score and students' characters directly and the formation of the personality and development. Still there is research detection: Compared with the one in the primary school, the mathematics education achievement in high school doesn't basically summit to intelligence development, but more to influence of mathematics studying attitude. Under the new course principle of the mathematics teaching practices, teachers should urge students to learn vividly, positively and validly, to help junior students exalt mathematics study score, and have to help students to form the positive mathematics study attitude and change the negative mathematics study attitude.The study examines attitudes toward maths learning of the high school students in some poor areas of Pingliang by using questionnaire, interview and literature. Investigate research result shows: (1) roughly 85% students think mathematics is very important.(2) Generally speaking, students feel that mathematics is difficult to learn, and the phenomenon of the mathematics study incidence excess is more serious.(3) the negative function that was brought by the too difficult examination is more widespread.(4) Teachers' democratic work- style is bad, the teaching level is low, causing students to study mathematic passively and their attitude to mathematics study is negative.(5) words, action and teaching ways of some of the parents are not suitable or even not good.(6) The market economy is not perfect, also affecting the student's mathematics study attitude seriouslyAs a teacher with the experiment that new course in conduct and actions principle guides the bottom teacher, I also investigate and try progressively, how to pass the mathematics teaching work, attaining how to train the study emotion to the good mathematics and urge students to study mathematics positively. And help them to have a good belief how to learn mathematics Take two classes ,class one and class two (from No.3 Middle school which I teach) for example, after two years' experiment, I think, aboveall, teachers must have a high and rich knowledge, a new teaching principle and friendly fair, and patient teaching way in order to let students have a good attitude to the study mathematics. The second, teachers must be heartfelt to trusts, respect, comprehend, tolerate to each student and incentive consciousness, the academic association respects the reasonable mental state in students' need and character difference, especially, respect their fondness, choice and their personality; Teachers pay attention to the growth process of each student and go to discover their advantage and progress. The third, teachers should establish the student diapason, loose-fitting study atmosphere and vivid and interesting teaching scenario, guide students to take part in active participating, active quest to develop the interactive function between teachers and students. The fourth, teachers should remark the students' each kind of study activity on time, and give them accurate and fitting evaluation in order to make them feel the successful joy.
