Multi-Media Teaching is a flourishing trend because it can exert a positive influence on students' learning. Using multi-media in Math teaching has been proved to have a positive effect on students' academic performance. This study aims to evaluate the use of multi-media in Math teaching in Macau via indicators like self-efficacy, interest in Math and academic performance. The research subject is Primary Four students they are divided into experimental and control group. Whether there is a difference in the effect of using multi-media to teach math between the two sexes; and if the presence of a personal computer at home will accelerate Math learning were also discussed. The findings are as follows: 1> Academic performance and self-efficacy of the experimental group wereimproved; while both groups showed no change in their interest. 2> In the experimental group, no difference in academic performance andself-efficacy was found between boys and girls either before or after the use ofmultimedia in math-teaching. 3> All students in the experimental group tended to improve their academicperformance in Math in the early stage. However, the academic performance ofthose students who have no computer at home resumed to the former level lateron.
