It is an important and difficult issue for ideological and political educators in all universities to increase the efficiency of ideological and political education. It is also determined by the importance and practicality of the education. Therefore, it is the everlasting subject for ideological and poliitical educators. The paper objects on study of raising the efficiency of ideological and political education for undergraduates, sticks to the principle of combining theoretic and practice, bases on the main factors that hold back the efficiency. It also provides suggestion and tries to give some practical breakthrough in the research on increasing the efficiency of ideological and political education. The thesis; can be divided into three parts.Part one: The importance of raising the efficiency of ideological and political education of higher learning. In this part, the importance of raising the efficiency of ideological and political education for undergraduate is discussed in the necessary of carrying out Three-Representations, in necessary of strengthening theory and practice of ideological and innovating theory of ensuring health and grown-up ofundergraduate. In this part we intent the value of investigation of ideological and political education.Part two: The main factors that hold back the efficiency. In this part, the main essentials that hold back the efficiency of ideological and political education for undergraduate are discussed in the factors of notion, content, environments, mechanism, objects and subjects group of ideological and political education. In this part we intent to find the main essentials that hold back the efficiency of ideological and political education for undergraduate.Part three: The methods of raising the efficiency of ideological and political education of higher learning. It is the main part in the thesis. In premises of main essentials that hold back the efficiency of ideological and political education for undergraduate, based on combining theoretic and practice, this paper discusses to update the notion, to increase content, to improve the method, to optimize the environment, to perfect the mechanism, to increase self-education and to fulfill the order of ideological and political education to higher degree. In this part, some operable methods are presented in order to develop the efficiency of ideological and political education for undergraduates.
