The theory on teachers' efficacy (self-efficacy) is very popular among researchers interested in teacher's education. A lot of research has indicated that teachers' efficacy is a kernel variable to teaching, as well as a key factor associated with teacher stuff enhancement.On the basis of research on teachers' self-efficacy, people found that teachers' collective efficacy was also quite important, which was the teachers' capable belief, and closely related to teachers' competency and students' academic achievements, etc. However, the research on teachers' CE in China is limited to theoretical review, and we try to explore the field to test some empirical relations.In addition, along with the global tide of education reform, the whole society focuses on teachers, and brings oppressive work stress and social obligation to them. Compared with the foreign teachers, the domestic have to confront more work contest, as a result, more mental disorder, professional accidie and sense of helplessness.This study performed the research on the correlation among teachers' SE, CE and work stress. After a careful review and an investigation by questionnaires, we chose Sense of Teachers' Efficacy Inventory, Teachers' Collective Efficacy Scale and Scale for work stress on High School Teachers as the three tools, and in the following research, examined the reliability and validity of the tools, proving that they could be used among the sample, 651 teachers from different primary schools, Junior middle schools, Senior middle schools and Technical Secondary schools. Then the data were analyzed by spss10.0.The results:1. The scores of general teaching efficacy, personal teaching efficacy and teacher's efficacy of urban teachers were all extremely significantly lower than those of suburban teachers; the three scores in key schools were extremely significantly lower than common schools; the three scores of teachers with bachelor's degree were significantly lower than those of lower degrees; the scores of teachers from primary school, junior middle school and technical secondary school were extremely higher than those of senior middle schools; the scores of school age two(6-15years) andthree(16-25years) in personal teaching efficacy were significantly higher than those of school age one(l-5years); and the scores of personal teaching efficacy of male teachers were significantly lower than those of female teachers.2. The teachers with college or lower degree were extremely higher than those with bachelor's degree in group competency, task analysis and CE; there were no significant difference among various school ages in GC and CE. The teachers of school age three were significantly lower than those of school age one and two in TA; the male teachers were significantly lower than female teachers in GC, TA and CE.3. As to guidance and management, examination and entering a higher school, interpersonal relationship, body and mind, social status, promotion, and work burden, male teachers were significantly higher than female teachers; considering guidance and management, work burden, student related factors, interpersonal relationship, body and mind, promotion, those with college degree were lower than those with bachelor's degree; school age had significant effect on work stressors; the teachers from key schools in social status were lower than those from common schools; the teachers from primary schools, junior middle schools and technical secondary middle schools in guidance and management and work burden were significantly lower than those from senior middle schools; the teachers from primary schools, technical secondary schools were significantly lower than those from senior middle schools in examination and entering a higher school, student related factors, interpersonal relationship and mind and body; in social status, the teachers from junior and senior middle schools were higher than those from primary schools.4.
