Authentic intellectual activities focuses on the quality of intellectualactivities.They have two essential points:Firstly, the intellectualactivities shall have the value of external world; Secondly, the intellectualactivities shall have complicacy, which is the state of intellectualactivities that action persons structures their knowledge in the process ofthorough understanding, comprehensive analysis and application ofknowledge.We may consider the strategies causing students to be engaged inauthentic intellectual activities in class from four dimensions. First,dimension of classroom evaluation. That is to encourage and praisestudents in order to lead classroom activity to authentic intellectualactivities on the basis of distinct evaluation standard. Second, dimensionof goal. That is to let the authentic intellectual activities become one ofthe goals of classroom instruction. Third, dimension of teaching materials.That is to look for respects that can cause students'authentic intellectualactivities by exploring the teaching materials. Fourth, dimension ofclassroom instruction organization. That is to provide conditions forstudents to be involved in authentic intellectual activities by payingattention to guidance of authentic intellectual activities, creation ofclassroom atmosphere and design of homework.The view of classroom evaluation on instruction guides classroominstruction.
