Being an important part of human culture, mathematics serves as a significant tool in premoting the progress in science. Not only is it the basis of science and technology, but also it plays an increasingly great role in literature research Therefore, quality for mathematics becomes so basic a quality that from primary school to high school, almost all of our students spend a large amount of time and energy in this subject, in order to improve their own level of mathematics and futher meet the soul demands.Nevertheless, it doesn't necessarily mean that the more the time and energy students dveote to mathematics, the more knowledge and academic ability on it they will gain. During the process of mathematical study, the phenomena of discrepamly always exist, and show its characteristics more conspicuously as the grade is higher. Among so much discrepancy, one that deserves great attention and much research is the effects of gender differences on mathematics study. According to current surveys, it is no doubt that the level and academic ability of mathematics are closely connected with gender differences. But, in leading to those differences, are there any other reasons besides that owing to physical condition? In order to solve the problem of discrepancy that is due to gender, are those reasons referrd valuable for people to find a way? With these questions in mind, I have investigated and analysed the current status in society and reserch results at home and abroad, then put forward the reasons for the phenomena of discrepancy, and further formulate a series of measures to eliminate the discrepancy in mathematical study originating in gender difference. The measures attach more importance to the mathematical study of female students, including: developing their interests of mathematical study, nurturing the ability in generalization, forming flexibility in way of thought, improving capability to deal with abstract problems, what is more, making good use of spare time to promote themselves. Finally, it calls for putting the measures mentioned above into practice, and further prove its availability through the whole process.
