To face up to all students and attach important to students'over all development is the basic demand for deepening educational innovation and impelling ability-oriented education.The aims for geography education are not only geographical-transference,but also cultivating students'geographical capacity,exploiting students'talents,enhancing students'all-around makings.The article based on the study of questionnaire to investigate and conversazione and track students'school report card and research in 300 senior school students.According to the teaching practice of myself and the theories of psychology,sociology and education,I discover that the sexual difference in geographical capacity is existent between senior school students.But, in leading to those differences,are there any other reasons besides that owing to physical condition? In order to solve the problem of discrepancy that is due to gender, are those reasons refers valuable for people to find a way? With these questions in mind, I have investigated and analyzed the current status in society and research results at home and abroad,then put forward the reasons for the phenomena of discrepancy,and further formulate a series of measures to eliminate the discrepancy in geographical study originating in gender difference.The measures attach more importance to the geographical study of female students,including:developing their interests of geographical study, nurturing the ability in generalization,forming flexibility in way of thought,improving capability to deal with abstract problems,what is more,making good use of spare time to promote themselves.
