Content: The rapid development of information technology has brought about great changes in education, from educational targets to study contents, from teaching methods to organization forms. In the society of today, network education represents the development of modern education. Driven by the construction theory, the teaching of collaboration-based learning in the network environment is a strategy that will organize students to learn in a form of a group or a team. It will play an important role in fostering the students' creative ability, alternative thinking, critical thinking, investigative spirit, cooperative ability , and enterprising spirit needed in the new century . So the network collaboration-study teaching is an important teaching model in 21 century, which has been applied in a lot of countries' education practice. The theory and practice in this aspect is increasingly valued. But the teaching of collaboration-based study in the network environment is short of complete and systematic research, which will certainly effect the implement and spread of this teaching model.This research is to probe into the theory and practice for the sake of the solution .Through the study of the relevant documents and learning from her own experiences, the author completely analyzes research at home and abroad, the teaching theoretic bases, and the basic characteristics and types of the teaching of collaboration-based study in the network environment , and discusses the essential factors, ways, appraisement, practice of the collaboration-study teaching in network environment. Furthermore, the author, by referring to her own teaching experiences, advances the collaboration-study teaching model and teaching's appraisable target system in the network environment .The author hopes this article can provide for the teaching researchers with complete material to learn objectively the network collaboration-based study model, and promote the collaboration-study teaching in the network environment.
