The center has been transferred a few times in Maths education. Generally speaking, in 1970s the basis was emphasized again, and in 1980s the emphasis was that how to solve problems. However, in 1990s the constructivism theory became popular, and nowadays maths thought as well as maths understanding is accepted by mass. The question that how to cultivate the maths thought abilities has come to the one of focal point in maths education, and also one of teaching tasks in the newly-issued Mathematics Curriculum Criterion.The poor creativity is usually regarded as one of defects by the traditional education. Indeed, in the course of teaching maths, our students master maths basic knowledge firmly, but they often fell so difficult for putting and settling problems rich of creativeness. Fostering qualified talents who has creative spirit and creative power has come to one of important tasks that needs resolving urgently in maths education. Creation must be based on a certain range of knowledge, but enriching and accumulating knowledge don't equal enhancing creativeness simply. Therefore, our goal is to train students' creation awareness and creativity power in the process of learning knowledge.Creation thought is the foundation of creativeness. Developing students' maths thought, especially creation thought is significant in mathseducation. There are no many differences between the creation thought of studying maths and creation thought of maths. It is necessary to cultivate creation thought in maths studying. The creation thought in maths studying refers mainly to that students apply maths knowledge and maths methods to solve those questions that haven't been managed, or refers to the thought of providing unique settling ways. As for thought achievement, it doesn't means bringing forth new ideas, while repeatable discovery, but it is re-creation for the whole course of gaining thought achievement. This kind of quantity accumulation of re-creation can probably promote a leap in quality.The cultivation of creation thought depends on creation education and the change of students' learning pattern. The prerequisite of learning creation is that students' subject pole should be brought into play and students learn how to study, and the students gain the studying skills by the perceiver structure of the students' cognition. Developing students' querying habit, raising doubts consciousness, probing spirit, the way of cooperation and discussion and so on are the core of creation education.
