Based on Ronfield’s art education theory which regards children’s creativity development as the core and aims to help children develop mature mentality,and the current development of art education in junior high schools in China,the paper applies the relevant theories on the research of art development of adolescent children to the course experiment,in order to assist middle school students to make a smooth transition to the youth age,and to enable young people to acquire the abilities of self-expression and self-confidence and rich growth experience from art education.The paper adopts the research method of single-group experiment design and takes samples from the first grade students of Renai Middle School to conduct the experiment.During the experiment,the teacher applies Ronfield’s theories and the art development theory of adolescent children to the course experiment,observes the participants and adopts interview method to summarize the research results of this experiment.In addition,by means of questionnaire surveys and interviews,the result shows that,the value of Ronfield’s theories are recognized and supported by students.Good results have also been achieved in the classroom.Students have changed some traditional backward ideas,and to a certain extent,they have re-established their new recognition and values of art creation behavior,and have changed their views on art creation from various aspects such as psychology,thinking,and cognition.
