The teaching reform of high school Chinese reading is the most important part of the whole Chinese education reform. When we probe into the characteristic and rule of reading teaching, the teaching reform of high school Chinese reading means the self-fulfillment and self-development of element in emotion, thinking, requirement and language and content in structure, form, method and technique. It's a systemic project which helps to optimize and fulfill the teaching of Chinese reading, to improve the reading ability of high school students and to advance the quality of teaching.We are using the analytical mode results such as aesthetic theory, after-modern course view, illegible theory, reading theory, chart theory, Qian Menglong's Three Primary and Four Subordination reading guide theory, Wei Shusheng's Six Points Theory, and Pan Fengxiang's Eight Steps reading theory etc. We combine those results with teaching practice and put forward evaluate system on high school reading teaching which includes evaluate criterion, quality guideline and criticism method.While we affirm the notable effect on the teaching reform of high school Chinese reading through demonstration analysis, we have to admit that there exist many contradictions and problems. For example, the dated reading teaching theory, the tedious reading teaching method, the imbalance between doctrine and language, the prevalence of traditional teaching mode " Four Steps", the "Predicatory Method" which restricts on explain and analysis, the inharmony between "Article Reading" and "Chinese Reading", the limited quantity of reading and the inadequate evaluate on reading teaching etc.Innovation will effect on improving the teaching reform of high school Chinese reading radically. First, innovative concept. We should liberate thinking based on the development of student. We have to build up the modern reading teaching theory which transfer the stress from outer changes to inner changes, from emphasize on courses to results, from tedious preach to interactive teaching. Second, innovative mode. We are searching for making up the Chinese readingteaching mode which combines teachers, students and texts into integrated information system and embodies both the dominant position of teachers and initiative of students. Third, innovative view. We should guide students to shake off customary view and enlighten them to solve problems through multi-view. We must focus on "hypotext" which helps to develop thinking space and enrich thinking method. Fourth, innovative thinking. We should bring up the innovative thinking ability through thinking practice by grasping the creative things, muti-view observation, changing from extensive reading to intensive reading, from interesting reading to compulsory reading and coexisting the teachers reading and students reading. Fifth, innovative method. We should create the extensive research method, imagination method, explication method and evaluation method through absorbing the traditional reading teaching method, refreshing extensive reading, intensive reading and fast reading and regressing reading teaching method.
