Research On Construction Of Humanities And Social Sciences In The Research University Of Science And Technology

Research university results from a certain development of a country's science and technology and productive forces. Discipline construction is the three social function on which personnel training , scientific research and social service base. In the modern times, any major projects and social problems are inseparable from the cooperation of social science and natural science, basic science and pragmatic science. Therefore, construction of humanities and social sciences has become indispensable for any research university, including researching university of technology.Based on the theory of the construction of humanities and social sciences in the research university of science and technology, this article analyzes the actuality of the humanities and social sciences in the technology research university of our country and puts forwards appropriate proposals by comparing the construction of humanities and social sciences of DUT with MIT and CIT .This article is composed with four parts:In the first part, it dwell upon the research university of technology's definition , intension and extension of the construction of humanities and social sciences.In the second part, it analyses the outline of our country construction of humanities and social sciences in research university of technology from its history, causes and problems.In the third part, this article compares the construction of humanities and social sciences of DUT with MIT and CIT, in terms of educational gradation and proportion, layout of disciplines, course design, scientific research, staff and so on.In the fourth part, this article put forwards five appropriate proposals, including: location, layout of disciplines, campus culture, personnel training, scientific research, staff and so on.
