Plain Research On Modern Reading In High School

"Reading should be the first of all the teaching methods." This is the most important experience raised by a lot of Chinese educators and scholars who have many years of teaching. It is the necessary way to improve comprehensive quality, accept the output information,arouse innovative consciousness and consolidate ability. Reading is also the most effective and fastest way for the students to get knowledge. With the development of the Chinese teaching reform, reading has become a relatively independent and very important part of Chinese teaching. People are paying more and more attention to it. Mr. Ye Shengtao said : "Chinese teaching aims at making people have a good reading habit." Sometimes our students waste too much precious time reading without the correct guidance. Of course , they get little . It is necessary for us teachers to coach them how to read correctly and effectively . After I studied the teaching theory and teaching psychology together with the teaching experience of 11 years, I have discovered the present situation of the students' reading ability through observation and analysis , meanwhile , I have found out the reason for it connected with both the teacher and the students . Now , I'd like to offer some specific strategy and illustrate my viewpoint from the 4 following aspects .
