Adopting summarization & integration method from the System Science and the Constructionism of the Cognitive Psychology for reference, this Dissertation made some primary exploration on "4-Multi" research methodology. Targeted against low efficiency of moral education and personality obstacles against employment caused by the humanity crisis and personality defect of modern industrial society and utilitarian tendency showed by higher education, this Dissertation tries initiatively to construct a teaching mode for New Subjective Personality-oriented Education for higher learning institutions. The first element of this Mode, theoretical bases, are as follows: Marxist Theories on Human's All-round Development of Free Personality; Humanistic Scientific Development Concept and China's Peaceful Rise Development Road Theory; Marxist "Life World Concept" based on practice and "Interactive Subject Theory" of modern philosophers; Chinese Organic Philosophy and Western Post-modern philosophical method – "Holistic Organic Theory"; Personality Theory of Existence-Humanistic Psychology and the philosophical tendency stemmed from its deep humanity source; Whole Personality and Subjective Education Thoughts proposed by Cai Yuanpei. The teaching target, i.e. the second element of the Mode, is: through natural quality education, social quality education and subjective quality education, to train quality graduates and responsible citizens, thus promoting national and citizens' modernization. The above-said natural quality education may be entitled as self-awareness education (incl. health education and emotion education); social quality education as deep-layer structure education (incl. moral education and life education), and subjective quality as surface-layer structure education (incl. aesthetic education and ideal education with ideal and conviction as the core and "Spiritual Maturity" education with patriotism as focal point), the core of the three qualities is social quality, incl. ideological & moral quality, humanities quality, scientific quality and physical & psychological quality). Moreover, it expounds on teaching conditions, procedures, methods and strategies, assessment standards and methods etc., and tries to unveil the interactive relationships of 6 elements of the above teaching mode, thus forming a unified personality education teaching theoretic system full of unique features. Innovation points of this Dissertation are as follows: 1. Innovation on scientific research methods: Under guidance of humanistic research methodology, this Dissertation concludes herein a new research method of Personality Education characteristic of "4-Multi" (multi-disciplinary, multi-aspect, multi-layer and multi-indexes). The complexity of education has decided that only "4-Multi" methods can disclose the nature, laws and significance of personality education. The Dissertation puts forwards its first new proposition herein as that "the complex science is the modern state of the System Science", and takes lead to propose that the cultivation of personality be listed in the category of the complex science and that knowledge/information summarization & integration methods from the System Science and the Constructionism proposed by the Cognitive Psychology be applied in the research on teaching modes of the Personality Education. System Science principles as "3-Theories" and "New 3-Theories" etc. are the supplementation and deepening of the whole materialist dialectics. Research herein promotes integral combination of qualitative description and quantitative description of the teaching mode, thus improving the research level from perspective of methodology. 2. Innovation on teaching modes: targeting against the present pervasive personality defect as one of employment obstacles in higher learning institutions, starting with a high point as promoting three major relationships as that between human and nature, that between human and society, and human with his own thoughts, this Dissertation, in the process of integrating health personality, moral personality and aesthetic personality into the new subject personality, with dialectic "sublation" attitude, explores deeply and extols merits of moral personality and aesthetic personality with the national spirit as its core, thus have an excellent command of the modern extension direction of traditional Chinese personality – adding modernity and reason and returning aesthetics, therefore, the Mode may function with practicability, flexibility, regularity in a simple, direct-viewing and systematic form.
